Sweet Tomatoes

If any of you fellow DVC'ers like the restaurant 'Sweet Tomatoes', there is a brand new location at the far end of the Crossroad's Shopping Center, next to TGI Fridays. It opened about 3 weeks ago.

Sweet Tomatoes is primarly Soups and a Salad Bar.

Fantastic! I love the salads and chili there. The other one by International Drive was kind of a pain to get to, so this is wonderful news. Go check it out, Diane! And it is really inexpensive to boot!

Wonderful! It was quite a drive to get to the other one. We usually do it several times each visit. Really wish the franchise would expand here to Virginia.

I was excited enough to go look at mapquest. It might be pushing it, and I can't remember if there are sidewalks the whole way, but it looks like it's not out of question to walk to from DTD for trips when we don't have a car. Certainly it's a reasonable cab fare.

Yippie! My family loves Sweet Tomatoes, especially my vegetarian DD. "Salad Bar" does not do this place justice. Here is a menu of the place:

I would also suggest that anyone who wants to eat at Sweet Tomatoes join "Club Veg" and they will email you coupons for free meals every few weeks. I used a Club Veg coupon the last 3 times I ate there. I just showed the coupon from my email on my phone so I didn't even have to print it out!

Is the restaurant in the old Jungle Jim's location?

there is a sidewalk all the way from dtd its about a 15/20 minute walk

Not sure where Jungle Jim's was, but Sweet Tomatoes is in a newly constructed building at the far end of Crossroads, next to TGI Fridays, and near Fuddrucker's and the mini-golf (Pirate's Golf?).

Fuddruckers? I didn't realize there was a Fuddruckers at Crossroads!! Now I've got two reasons to go to Crossroads on my next trip!

Sweet Tomatoes...magic words in my house. Told my dad last night, this might convince him to join us in August. He LOVES Sweet Tomatoes/Souplantation. My DH is up for the walk from DTD .
