All of this talk about the new Disney celebration/marketing campaign got me so excited that I not only entered myself into the sweepstakes, but my DW as well. Then ...... after the fact I read the sweepstakes rules that state:

"Only one Entry per person/Address (regardless of whether one person has more than one Address or more persons than one use the same Address)."

Did I just void our entries by having two people living at the same adress enter? Also, what happens if you enter twice, do they void your entries as well? :guilty: :confused3

I actually went through the process three times. I would think that they would have a pop-up saying something like, "Thank you. You have already entered our sweepstakes."

Most contests are one entry per person per day. Is this one different?? :confused3

I read it as one entry per household also and I did get a pop up window saying thank you for entering.

Slightly Goofy

I have been entering once per day, because that is what it lets you do. That would be a shame if I dq'd myself. :confused3

From the "Sweepstakes Rules":

LIMITATIONS: Each Entry must be received by 11:59:59 p.m., July 31, 2006. Only one Entry per person/Address (regardless of whether one person has more than one Address or more persons than one use the same Address). In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the Address is registered. Entries by any method other than set forth above in Section 2 are void. Any use of automated or programmed methods of effecting Entry is prohibited. Open only to Members who are 18 or older upon entering, legal residents of, and physically located within, the 50 states or the District of Columbia ("Territory"), not employees of Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries or affiliates; the advertising, promotional or fulfillment agencies of any of them (individually and collectively, "Entities"); nor members of their households or immediate families. Neither the Entities, nor any of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents or representatives (individually and collectively, "Releasees") are responsible for Entries from persons residing, or physically located, outside the Territory; Entries that are altered, defective, delayed, deleted, destroyed, failed, fraudulent, improperly accessed, inaccurate, incomplete, interrupted, late, lost, misrouted, multiple, non-delivered, stolen, tampered with, unauthorized or unintelligible; or any printing, production, technical, electronic or other errors; or inaccurate or incomplete capture online of Entry information (including the Registration Form); for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; miscommunications; failed phone, computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions; technical failures; unauthorized human intervention; traffic congestion; garbled or jumbled transmissions; undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail filtering; insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail; or other errors of any kind, whether due to electronic, mechanical or human error or other causes; even if caused by the negligence of any of the Releasees. Each of such potential Entries will be disqualified. Void where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state, local and municipal laws and regulations.

I have entered many contests and sweepstakes online. It pays to read the rules! Sorry to say, folks -- but you may have disqualified yourselves. Most contests are pretty strict about this type of thing.

I was wondering if anyone noticed the part in the rules that was quoted above and specifically mentioned multiple entries? Would this void all entries if you entered multiple times?
