but I am an old dude that used to never get cool enough, but now am freezing about 5 months out of the year (yes, including the damn grocery store--sheesh!) However, at WDW I am so grateful for air conditioning to get some relief from the heat & humidity. The idea of a sweater is
I used to say to my family as we passed through Norway gift shop, how many people can shop for $300 sweaters at WDW? Yes, they were beautiful but the thought of even looking at a thick wool sweater in the central Fla. heat?
Thank you all so much for the replies! I think I might carry a light sweater the first day and see how it goes after that. I hate the feeling in the summer of going into A/C and feeling cold. The worst is the supermarket!
To you ladies out there.... I'm leaving next week and was wondering if I should carry a light sweater with me to the parks for indoor rides and restaurants? Does anyone find themselves being chilly when going into AC after the extreme heat?
Sweater no, but a light cardigan, bolero or shawl thing yes.To you ladies out there.... Nope. In August, it's HOT, & the ac will feel good. I live in South Louisiana, we have similar weather here as in Disney. I never need a sweater at home in August nor at Disney.

Unless you live in Death Valley, I don't see how you could get cold in Disney in August. It's typically so hot that I'm actively seeking out a place with frigid AC just to bring my body temperature back down to normal levels.
Me. It can be 95 degrees and humid here in Michigan and I'll get home and walk in the door (where DH has been home all day) and the first thing I do is turn the temp up because he's got the AC at 72 and I'm FREEZING.
