SWDAS - Jawas?

Do they trade with you? That is, are there things we should have on hand to trade?

When you offer them something they want, they will dig through their bags and present a trade. It's all in good fun, the more interesting the item the more motivated they become. I saw people offering things like keychains, mini flashlights, coins, candy, etc.

That sounds like a lot of fun. We have some key rings lying around we'll take.

So do you get from them things they got from other folks?

My DD (7) loved trading with the Jawas. They caution you to trade "junk" as you will get that in return - very fun to follow, watch and trade. Not sure where they get the items they trade, but certainly from other guests is possible!

So this is more for the trading experience than to get something cool?
Absolutely more for entertainment.....never saw anything valuable and many very mundane items - tip from CM was they like shiny and/or useful things. Although my DD thinks she now has a "moon" shell!

@FigmentSpark - I'm very grateful you posted this, because it never even occurred to me that SWDAS would have Jawas bartering like in the Launch Bay at DHS. I need to tell the kids to start packing some shiny baubles.

Yes, my kids are now on the hunt for 'shinys' to trade, too. Just a little more excitement added. :)

At DHS, we forgot about the Jawas and were unprepared, trinket-wise. Not wanting to miss out, my daughter hastily produced one of her pony-tail holders, as in "used". The Jawa took it in good humor, but it was pretty gross to give him that.

This time, we are running to the local dollar store in advance to look for unsullied shiny/sparkly stuff.
