Swapping PP+ for MM

I already have a PP+ purchased some time ago in anticipation of the holiday. I seem to remember hearing that it was possible to swap the PP+ directly for MM. Has anyone here done it?

I know that if you want to exchange it before you go you have to send back the gallery CD at your cost however when another poster arrived in June her PP+ voucher was exchanged for memory maker and she didn't ask for it. On that basis I would assume that once you get there they will swap your voucher for MM anyway.

TBH I didn't see a single PP+ lanyard in July so I am guessing they issued them until they run out then stopped.

I'm off in 8 days time and I've also got PP+ I was also wondering what's going to happen as there are 10 of us going and we are all linked on MDE via friends and family. I assumed we'd just used multiple PP cards with 1 PP+ card but they have now run out of them I guess it will automatically become a MM. It's a pity realty as logistically it was easier with the old PP+ card for loading ride pics but I assume as we are all linked then we can all load ride pics

Isabel MM is easier than PP+ ever was for ride photos! If you all have MBs they will just appear in your account and you don't have to keep track of and remember that one red card. Just make sure you are all linked to view and share all.

And all PP photos can be scanned to MBs now so no need for any of the regular cards

I tried to do this I the parks in August but wasn't able to due to there being tax charged on pp+ and not on mm
