Will Disney allow me to swap reservation points from one membership to another (both are mine). The reservation is for Boardwalk and all the points (both memberships) are Boardwalk.

The problem is on membership #1 I have banked points that I need to use.

On membership #2 the reservation was made using all current year points. What do you think?

Are they in 2 separate membership numbers- like you have 2 use years or just 2 contracts under the same number. If it is 2 different use years I don't think it would work since you can't transfer the banked points but if they are in the same master contract then they should be able to reallocate the points.

Thank you for your reply which was also confirmed by Disney. I created a waitlist and if it comes thru I can use my banked points and then cancel the existing day's reservation which is part of a week stay.

Maybe this is a stupid suggestion, but couldn't MS just cancel the one reservation and immediately book it with the other?

No guarantee that the room would not go to a waitlist. Once canceled it's not always easy to get it back if there are others waiting in the system for it.

Are we talking about "reservation" points or regular DVC points?i don't think you'd be able to swap reservation points because the conversion to reservation points can't be reverted. You'd still be stuck with reservation points for your original contract.

You could cancel online and immediately book with the other account though there is some risk you'd lose it.
