Swaping out points?

I own at both BLT and BWV. I booked BLT when it first was available for this December. I'm almost at the 7 mo window now. My question is, can I call at the 7 mo window, and if there is availability, basically swap out my BLT points for my BWV points? Has anyone done this?

If there is availability to make a new reservation, then yes, you can book BLT with your BWV points and cancel your first reservation. If there is not availability to make a new reservation, then no, you can not. To simply swap points at 7 months defeats the purpose of the home resort advantage.

Thanks. That's how I thought it would work, so it's worth at least calling to see if there is availability next week.
