We are going in Feb 2021 and right now can get a great deal on a room at the Swan with booking our Allegiant tickets. Are we able to add the Swan reservation to our Disney account? Want to book our park reservations and since we are AP holders we can only book 3 days unless staying on property. We've never stayed at a resort not booked through Disney before so didn't know how this would work. At one time I thought Swan/Dolphin had a lot of the Disney privileges as Disney resort guests.

Hi @melvin1970 yes you should be able to add your Swan reservation to your MDE account. S/D has this page setup to assist in linking your reservation with your MDE account. I say should as I have no idea how Allegiatnt factors into those reservations. There is a great resource thread, Walt Disney World SWAN & DOLPHIN RESORTS Information & Questions I would encourage you to drop by. Some very helpful members can really answer a lot of questions you may have.

Keep in mind that Swan/Dolphin is not owned or run by Disney so you do not get things like Magical Express, Magic Bands and others. You do get Disney Transportation on property, but right now S/D is using Mears for some of those parks. Also keep in mind that you have a resort fee tacked on to your reservation, unless the deal from Allegiant specifically says its already paid for. That rill run you about $30+tax per day.

Thank you for the information. I didn't even think about the resort fee. We have decided to stay with a Disney Resort for now.
