Swan vs. Moderate Resorts

The Swan for sure. It and the Dolphin are the only places that I would choose over CSR,( the only mod that I would consider), because of the extra amenities. You definitely get more bang for the buck. There are great restaurants between the S & D. Plus its walking distance to Epcot and a bit longer walking to MGM. The ferries are great. You don't get DDP but its not worth it anymore anyway. You do get EMH.

Yes they do get EMH, but I would still pick a moderate. I'm sorry - We had a smelly room at the Swan - just damp smelling - they wouldn't move us - I won't go back.

I've read that they've had mold issues.

We had no mold issues in our room at the Swan last year. They now have flat screen tv's and the beds are awesome! So is the pool. The location is the best feature IMO. We love walking over to the Boardwalk and the boat to Studios and Epcot. The Swan and Dolphin are #1 in our book.

i would go with the Swan without a doubt. its much nicer and you can't beat the pool or location.
