does anyone know which one is better for a quick trip to disney next month?

or should i just stay on disney again? lol thought i would see if they are nice..

Guess it depends on who has availability! They are so similar, it would not matter. When we stayed at the Swan (it IS the smaller of the two) we walked over to Dolphin constantly for things, too.

You can't go wrong with either!

In all honesty............I prefer Swan/Dolphin over the Disney choices! I love the beds and I love REAL room service!

thanks..i see some bad reviews on tripadvisor.. and wanted to know if it was really THAT bad. lol

We have stayed at both and like the Swan better, much quieter and you dont see all those conventioners

thanks everybody..
i appreciate you taking time to give me opions :cool1:

LOL, we do too. Once you go Swan/Dolphin it is hard to go back to disney rooms.

Either resort is great, we stay at both, whichever has a room with the best rate for when we are going.

Why is the Dolphin less expensive than the Swan??
Which is the one closer to the walkway to DHS?

Because the Swan is better. Ignore Tripadvisor. The Swan is very nice. Though I DID notice the bathrooms don't have fans, so I SUPPOSE that could be an issue for some folks...

The Swan is closer to HS, but the boat dock is equally between them. It would only be closer if you are walking over, and then , probably not that much. Either way you have to cross a bridge. They are also about equal to Epcot.

The views at the Swan are better, but you might have to pay extra for the best view. Do join the club - you may get a free room upgrade and you'll get points.

The real advantage, is the buses stop at Swan first, and the room layout is better. Not sure if this is still true, but once upon a time the beds at S were bigger. Also, the bathrooms have two sinks. At S, one of them is located outside the bathroom which helps with getting ready quickly.

Now if only they offered ME and DDP with the discounted room rates....

the swan is a westin and the dolphion is a sheraton.

both are very nice but the swan seems a tad more elegant.

I prefer the Dolphin, but I think it's a very personal thing. My dd hates both of them, so I don't stay there with her. She seems to need that Disney magic. I'm fine with better beds, better amenities.
You'll find many more negative reviews on TripAdvisor. At least that's my take on it. I don't go there anymore because of it.

As long as you like mold and paying $10 to park your car. I guess that would be hard to leave. ;)

we had no mold at all, we found it to be very pretty and clean. as for the 10.00 parking we took a limo from the airport (which WAY better than the ME, no waiting no packed buses with screaming kids, no stopping at other resorts) so no fee for us! all and all they are very nice resorts.
