Hi.. again!!

We are staying at the Swan (switched from dolphin :p ) for two nights (July 20-22) then we are at the Beach Club July 22-29 on FTP. I was not going to get passes for our first day & half. I figured that we would just swim in the grotto pool, go to dinner somewhere and chill out.

On the am of the 22nd.. early. One of us (DH or I) can walk to the BC to check all of us in (me, DH, DD8, DDF8, Dbaby6mo). CAN one of us adults check all of us in at the BC while the other hangs back in the club with the kids for breakfast?

THEN, with our park passes in hand, we can all hit the parks. I was going to request late check out at the Swan (platinum spg, so we are good to go on this). Then around noon, I thought we could come back to the grotto pool. One of us (me or DH) could transfer all our luggage while the other was with the kids at the pool.

Then we could go to the BC and check it out and do our 'thing' - albeit the parks or the pool or a nap...

what do you think? Is there a better way to do this?

ALSO - for those who have stayed at te Swan and the BC.. will we be 'downgrading' from the Swan to go to the BC? Will we go to a smaller room?

Thanks..
Carrie

I think your plan sounds great. I am not sure how patient the 8 year olds will be about getting to everything...??? I would definitely plan a character dinner one of those first 2 evenings; or maybe 'Ohana at the Poly for the fireworks and EWP; or maybe Hoop Dee Doo at FW then you could do the sing-along. Anyway, I think you will be fine with the arrangement you have. Happy planning...less than a month for you!

We haven't stayed at the Swan, but we stayed at the Dolphin for 5 days in May, then switched to BC for 3 days. The BC was definitely an upgrade compared to the Dolphin. The room was bigger, even with a loaner wheelchair which we didn't have at the Dolphin. It also had a sofa, which the other room didn't have. The bathroom area was larger, too.
Then take into consideration SAB and the close proximity to Epcot, and BC wins hands down with us!
