Swan room request

Our trip is in 3 weeks...I would like to send in a room request via email. I am wondering:
a) what should I ask for? We are staying at the club level, so is there a view I can ask for?
b) How many days prior can I email my request?
c) I never received my starwood preferred guest card, though I have a temporary card...how do I check my points?

You can make your request via email, but I suggest you call and have it put on your ressie. Use the number provided in the FAQ stickied to the tp of the resort board. I would also send the email. I would send and call request now, and then email again a week before you go.

As to request...The club levek is located in the center part of the building not the wings so you miss out on the best views IMHO. You will either face the front of the hotel, or the Dolphin. If you are closer to the pool end you may see MGM....if you are closer to the water way and Boardwalk you may see some of Illuminations, but will be obstructed.

Points are not awarded until after your stay is completed. A few weeks later you will receive something in the mail...you can also look it up on the starwood site... www.starwood.com

I thank you for the post...but I am not sure what to request...we requested a refinished room...or on my form it says "upgraded room"...
Do you think I should try to get a balcony room? I could only get club privileges if I have a gold card, right??

I am wondering what I request. Should I just reiterate the fact that I want an updated room and not request a specific location? Is there any club room that has a good view?

With 2 weeks to go does any one have a suggestion of what room I should request at club level??
