We just stayed at the Swan this past week. I must say we've stayed there SEVERAL times before and have always loved it, now I must say...I don't know how we'll ever be able to stay anywhere else!!
The beds are so amazing! I know many people crash at night when they're at WDW, unfortunately, I'm not one of those...I have problems sleeping in hotel rooms I think because of the humidity level (even when the A/C is cranked up I can still feel the humidity). Anyway, I was up a few time during the night, but I fell back to sleep in seconds, I just don't know what it is about those "heavenly beds"! But, they're great.
We had a beautiful studio room totally renovated. The decor is really nice and modern. Even the sink faucets were replaced. They replaced the buffet furnishing in the studio dining room with an extended desk which was great for dh and they have the dsl hookup which is very convenient! The room was quiet and had a beautiful view.
The staff was just terriffic. I had someone call to make sure our requests were met to our satisfaction. All of the CMs were very friendly and helpful.
We ate at Gulliver's and Palios. Both restaurants had great food and excellent service. As a matter a fact I called down to Palios because dd is so picky and I knew she wouldn't eat anything on their kid's menu. I asked if they could cook her a grilled chicken breast and that request was just fine (they also got her fries too
)
It was a great experience. I highly recommend this resort (as well as the Dolphin). We didn't get a chance to try FRESH yet unfortunately but it looks like it would be really good. Blue Zoo will probably open in January, they still have lots of construction to do. But, looks like it'll be one really cool place to eat!! Looking forward to it!
Just had to brag about the S/D!!
