Swan or POFQ?

I booked late and these are my options. I fear the Swan will be a disaster. It is too late for a disney deluxe resort. Which do I choose? I have two tweens and do not plan on going to Disney springs. Is POFQ's location ok for the parks?

Why do you think it will be a disaster? Both the Swan and Dolphin are lovely resorts.

It is too late for a disney deluxe resort.

Not sure without knowing your dates.

POFQ is an On Site resort so it's great for the parks.

I think i double posted! The trip advisor reviews are pretty bad for swan. It is too late for deluxe except AK. Thanks!

The TripAdvisor reviews for everywhere have moments of dire.

The Swan is a lovely resort within walking distance of two parks. POFQ you will be busing everywhere. If the pricing (after resort fee) is similar, Swan is an easy choice.

It sure would help if you gave the dates you are thinking of going. The swolphin are very nice hotels, and there is really nothing wrong with them and they are in a great location. For us, our family would rather stay at a Disney resort (Mod or Deluxe), we just did not get the same "feel" from it. Plus we drive and once we add the daily resort & parking fee it's another $50 per night

The Swan is an absolutely wonderful resort! We were there less than a week ago, and had a FABULOUS time. The beds are to die for, and the recent refurb did wonders for the room. All staff were beyond courteous -- we repeatedly commented on how friendly everyone was, and how accommodating. We were unexpectedly upgraded to the next level of room, too, so that was a bonus. For us, the selling point is being able to take a boat/walk to both Epcot and DHS, as Epcot is by far our favorite park. Between the two, I'd go with Swan in a heartbeat, but they are both lovely resorts. This was our second stay with them, and we would love to revisit the resort again sometime in the near future. We have not stayed at POFQ, but we have stayed at POR, and Swan wins, hands down.
