Swan or Dolphin??

Witch do you prefer & why??

Swan tends to be less hectic, I believe Dolphin gets more convention business. We've done both places, 2 weeks each and we do prefer Swan, got a balcony with a view of Fantasmic fireworks in 2005.

We've only stayed at the Swan but we love it. The rooms are very nice (we're partial to the family alcove rooms) and the hotel is quiet. It has great restaurants and has a lovely pool. We never stayed at the Dolphin because it had full size beds rather than queen but that may have changed.

The Swan has queen beds while the Dolphin has doubles. However, you easily fit a rolloway in a Dolphin room since the beds don't take up as much space. Dolphin has a much larger, busier lobby. The Dolphin just seems much more active overall while not being more crowded. The Swan is quieter.

I prefer the Dolphin. I like the busier atmosphere. I prefer two doubles and a rolloway to two queens. Also, we seem to have had much better luck getting upgrades at the Dolphin.

I like them both though and would happily stay at either.

The bed cfg is probably the biggest difference.

Swan lobby seems more chill.
Both are just a short walkway from each other, and the amenities of each are shared. You can get a King at either, but Swan has two queens, and Dolphin has two doubles. We prefer two queens, but if they BOTH had two queens, I'd choose whichever was cheaper.

We prefer the Swan for the bigger beds, the smaller, less hectic lobby and the slightly closer distance to the Boardwalk and DHS walking path.

The Swan has queen beds while the Dolphin has doubles. .

Aside from this ^^ fact....they are basically the same resort. take your pick based on room rate is what i would say.

We prefer the Dolphin. I can't really give a reason other than we just like it better. LOL.

It's usually just 2 of us so we get a king bed but if we were taking our teenage son, we would book the Swan for the queen bed. He is 6'4
