swan or dolphin? which is better & why?

I don't think their websites have views from balconies but I can tell you from my balcony last year we had a beautiful view of Spaceship Earth and watched Illuminations every night from it. It was beautiful!!!!!

We have stayed at both the Swan and Dolphin. We much prefer the Swan because of the beds. The"oversized" doubles at the Dolphin are not really that oversized, and as we are used to a king, it was not a picnic for DH and me! Also, our 2 DDs didn't enjoy sharing a double bed, whereas the queens at the Swan (all new Westin Heavenly beds, I might add) are fabulous.
As for the amenities, you can easily walk across the short distance from the Swan to the Dolphin, and the pool is equidistant.
We'll be at the Beach Club this time; just looking for something different!

Imdopey-
I see your leaving very soon. Wow, you stayed at the Swan for quite a few years, maybe I'll catch up to you. We loved our first stay so much last year it's where I'm going again. The service there was so much better IMHO as the other Disney resorts and it's why last year I felt we needed a change. They really went out of their way for us last year and I didn't even ask for it.
BTY, my DH went to the BC on a convention last year and said he liked it alot. This year he's going to try the YC. He said you have to go to the Cape May Buffet, I think that's the name, he said it's outstanding and he wants to make sure we go there this year.
