A little help if you would.

An opportunity to go to Disney in June has fallen in our laps. We have used MDE / FP+ and booked ahead of time in Nov (2013) & this past Feb, we like the MB's and MDE. My understanding is that staying at the Swan is "off site" and we wont have access to what we did staying on site.

So.... Do I add an extra night infront of the trip and and stay at the boardwalk, or do I get a throwaway camp site?

Will both work?

I want to avoid getting my fastpasses when I enter the park.

Any other info to add?

First, you might want to call the hotel directly and find out if they are making any speical arrangements. Just after President's Day, there were reports of "Hidden CMs" near park entrances who were booking FPs for only guests of the S/D with i-Pads. You had to show your room key to get these people to help you. If they are still doing that, then it might not be worth the cost of a room at the BW. But that would be up to you. You should also check the S/D thread on the Resort Board to see what others are reporting.

We entered Epcot this morning through the Intnl Gateway and there was a CM with an iPad and a sign that said FP for Swan/Dolphin. There was no line whatsoever.

Thanks for reporting this, my stay at the Dolphin is coming up in five weeks. Please let us know if you find other dedicated S/D CMs with iPads in other parks this week. Thanks!!:thumbsup2

At DHS last month, the Swan/Dolphin Fp+ iPad CM was in Sid Cahuenga's/Fp+ Service Center.

This will solve your problems! Fp+ will now open 30 days in advance for day/offsite guests:

Woo Hoo! You just totally made my day Itinkso! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I am at 40 days out in MDE but haven't given my FP+s any thought as I didn't want to get my hopes up but now I better get cracking, 10 days to go.

I am fine not having magic bands and using my RFID tix, everything is already linked.

Thanks again for the news and the link!! :thumbsup2

Enjoy and good luck! I am envious... I have to wait until it becomes available to guests of CMs! Hopefully soon!:)
