Are the Swan and Dolphin resort nice to visit. In the past we have enojed eating at the different WDW resort restaurants. Is it worth a trip over there? We have a 5 and 3 yr old kids so we never do fancy. Any suggestions?

Here I am answering you again, he he! YES YES... the S/D has some kid friendly things to do.

The Swan has Gulliver's which has a nightly character meal with either Timon & Rafiki or Goofy and Pluto. This is a nice character meal because it is more laid back than other WDW meals. There is a buffet or you can order off the menu. The also have a special kid's buffet. Palio has excellent Italian dishes, strolling musicians, a little fancy but VERY kid friendly.

The Splash Grille is also a nice place to grab a bite for lunch either outside by the lap pool or inside with the big TV that's usually playing kid's shows.

The Dolphin has the Dolphin Fountain which is a fun place to grab a quick bite or get some ice cream. Tubbi's is a cafeteria style place and right down the hall is an arcade and Camp Dolphin, the S/D's kid's club.

Outside the Dolphin has the Cabana Grille poolside. Have a seat and order some lunch.

Yes, they are wonderful hotels to visit. While they have many upscale restaurants, Gullivers is a great character buffet that your kids will enjoy. ::MickeyMo

Tubbi's..oh yes..great place for dinner.

Fresh for breakfast..outstanding.

We just got back and Fresh in the Dolphin was the best breakfast we had there. Great food, and the staff was too. I forget the set price but it was a buffet with made to order stations; omlets, apple filled french toast, cherry chocolate pancakes (i stole a bite and they tasted better than they sounded)

Another vote for the Dolphin Fountain. Very kid-friendly! :D
