Hello to everyone and thanks to all who reply. I wam wondering which resort is closest to Epcot, we plan on going to Epcot almost nightly on our next vacation to watch illuminations and was wondering if one resort was closer than the other to the entrance of epcot. Also have all renovations been completed at both resorts?

I believe leaving from the International Gateway at Epcot, walking the path you come to the Dolphin first, but they are right beside each other. Someone on the Disney Resorts board could answer better, though.

The Swan is 'closer', but the difference in distance is negligable. They're exactly the same if you take the boat to Epcot, and the difference if you walk is hardly worth noticing.

Where you room is in the hotel will have a greater impact than which hotel you select.

I agree. We had a lovely room in the East Wing of the Dolphin, in Oct 2002. It gave us an amazing view...but, boy oh boy...was it far from the lobby and the pool! Luckily, we found the stairs and an exit to a walkway that was halfway to the Beach Club, LOL....

I prefer my West Wing view of Tower of Terror. Much more centrally located :)
