Hi all,

After much deliberation and planning woes, we are finally decided on a Swan wedding. I was really hoping for Crescent Terrace, but unfortunately it's not available in the evening on our date. I've been looking at pictures of West Courtyard and finding a lot of disparity. It seems it was redone and expanded a year or two ago, but I can't find much information or photos of the redone look. I have changed our plan so many times with our wedding coordinator (Ashley) and I think she is getting annoyed with me... however, I am starting to regret our decision to go with our second choice location. Does anyone have pictures of the new look at West Courtyard or had anyone been married there recently- especially in the evening?

Is your wedding planner from Just Marry? Can they send you pictures or possibly a video of the updated location?

Here are the two different images I've been seeing:

This one, which is from Swan and Dolphin's website, shows a larger courtyard with a white swan fountain:

Versus the smaller courtyard with the green Swan fountain here:

There is a new ceremony location, called the West Courtyard Pergola, which is where it looks like the wedding you sent me, Carrie, took place. I can see the white Swan fountain in the background of those photos vs. the green one I've seen in most of the photos.

Very confused!

@myadventurebook so sorry to hear about all your struggles! That must be a horrible feeling knowing the place you want isn't available. How far out were you trying to book Crescent Terrace? I ask because I'm in the process of deciding between a S/D reception or a Mini-Wishes reception (see my many other posts here on Disboards lol), and if I go the route of S/D I really want Crescent Terrace for my location. I would just need it for a reception, not a ceremony, but hearing it wasn't available for you is making me worried I'll run into to the same problem! Again- so sorry to hear of your struggles, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that everything works out the way you want it!

OK, so...it turns out the courtyard WAS renovated, and I have a ton of photos of it that I totally forgot I had! I outsmarted myself....

On JustMarry's website, they have it listed as two separate venues, West Courtyard Fountain and West Courtyard Pergola, but it's just two different spots in the same courtyard—either you stand with the fountain as your backdrop or you stand under the pergola.

I was married at the Swan in December as well-it's such a beautiful time to get married at WDW! Be sure to take some pics inside the Swan lobby-the tree is so beautiful!

I've attempted several times to get pricing information on holding a ceremony at the S.D but I haven't had any luck with hearing back from them. Does anyone have a direct link to pricing information?

That should be fine! I was married there in 2011, but they basically told me I could use any officiant I wanted. We are not from the area, so we had no clue, so they provided us a list of ones they've used in the past.

Hi all,

We are officially getting married at S&D on December 2, 2017 with a reception at bluezoo. I had a question for anyone who has been married there: who did you use for floral? Just Marry quoted us $1700 for a few (3) bouquets, a few (4) boutinerres and an arch, which seems like a LOT to me. Where I'm from in the northeastern US, weddings are VERY expensive and I still thought this quote was a bit ridiculous. I'd love to know what alternatives there are.
