We are planning an adult only trip for March 30-April 6 2016. We are trying to get one last trip in before our annual passes expire because we are probably not going to renew them. It is also my birthday that week. My question is that I can get the Dolphin with a AAA discount for the same price as any of the Disney moderate resorts. We have stayed at POR and really enjoyed it, but we didn't like the theme of CSR. I am staying at POFQ in December for 3 nights, but we didn't want to stay there for a week because we really enjoy the quiet pools. So, I was contemplating trying the CBR. We love the islands, so I think we would enjoy the theming and I like the idea of multiple quiet pools. I am also hoping to eventually get an AP discount on a room at a moderate, making it cheaper than the Dolphin. My question is how the rooms, pool, etc... at the Dolphin compare to the moderates? I am thinking a Deluxe resort is out of the picture this trip unless I can luck up on a 40% discount or something. With this being partly on the week after Easter the rack rates are really high. Thanks in advance!

I would go to Carribean Beach Resort if you were to rent a car becuase they have 7 Bus Stops! If has a great theme & it's Disney! You get all the perks. But, only if you are visiting epcot & hollywood studios the most stay at the dolphin. It depends do you want a disney Resort or a Starwood Hotel.

We will be flying and will not be renting a car, so relying on Disney transportation. Not having to drive is one of the best parts of a Disney vacation in our opinion!
