Swan/Dolphin stay allow for charging on Magic Bands in parks?

We've never stayed anywhere else but our DVC properties but doing first adult-only Food & Wine visit and staying at Dolphin. It appears the magic bands do not open the doors etc at Swan & Dolphin but have seen mixed answers regarding whether we can use the bands to charge in the parks and have it go to our account? Any guidance is appreciated!

No, you cannot use Magic Bands to charge back to Swan/Dolphin room accounts.

Magic band features like charging to the room and unlocking resort doors are only for Disney-owned resorts. Just about all you’ll be able to do with the bands as a Dolphin guest is access ticket media and fast passes that are associated with your MDE account.

Put another way, you’ll get the MB features that are associated with parks, but not the features that are associated with resorts.

We stayed at the Swan earlier this month. For us, it wasn't an inconvenience not being able to charge to our MB (probably a good thing - less spending!). You can buy a small gift card that you can reload and put on your wrist . Very convenient for F&W. I bought mine in the Swan lobby gift shop or you can buy it at Epcot.

The Swan was about a 10 min walk to Epcot and you're right there in the World Showcase ready for the F&W festival. You do also have access to WDW transportation and the Friendship boats are right outside the Swan/Dolphin.
