Swan & Dolphin Resort $99 (In December)

Hi twinmomplus2,

I just called the resort directly and talked to the agent. I didn't even ask about availability. I just told her about my existing reservation and asked her if I could switch to the new rate. She said I would have to cancel and forfeit my 1-night deposit and rebook. I said go ahead and I don't know what she did but she was able to book my entire stay at the PARKS rate (Dec 13-25). I called again 15 minutes later to add my Starwood # on my reservation. I just logged in to my Starwood account and my new reservation is there. It says average daily rate is $99.00 (total = $1287).

What a great rate. I have reservations at Dolphin June 2004... I hope they offer that rate around that time Congrats to those who could take advantage of this terrific deal

I just spoke to an agent at the resort and got 6 nights (14th-20th) at the $99.oo rate. This is a GREAT deal...

I cancelled our Doubletree Suite reservation for our first night (prior to BWV) and got Dolphin for Dec. 20th. I'm not happy about the $10 extra fee they charge, though...We'll likely arrive very late that night and move over to BWV the next morning. The confirmation says it's "due to the additional feature of high speed internet access in all of our guest rooms." That fee needs to be added to the overall rate...not as a surcharge for a feature that a guest may or may not use. Either increase the rack rate (and subsequent discounted rates) to compensate whatever it costs them to add this feature to the rooms, or only charge it to those who use this feature.

The only reason I moved my first night to Dolphin was because of the convenience of checking out Sunday morning and being able to literally walk next door and check in at BWV. We're trying to do EMH at MK that Sunday.

I can not believe that after all of the back and forth planning and agonizing I am really going to be trying the Dolphin for the first time in a couple of weeks! We just cancelled our Poly ressie 'cuz we got the $99 rate. I had originally planned a stay at the Dolphin, but went with the Poly 'cuz with the postcard rate it was only slightly higher (S/D w/ govt rate). HOWEVER, this $99 deal changes everything! In my heart I really wanted to try the Dolphin. So now I have my heart's desire!

YIPPPEEE!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Our Poly rate GV was $170 (w/o tax). When we were considering the Dolphin w/ govt rate we were adding the $25 rollaway charge plus the $10 resort fee. When you take into account all that, they were nearly equal in cost.

We are staying at the Dolphin with the $99 rate Dec 18, 19 and 20. Then moving to the AKL for $109 per night for Dec 22, 23, 24.
