Swan/Dolphin quoted NO discounts Dec 15th til 30th!!!

I called the 888 number for Swan/Dolphin inquiring about availability for 12/13-19th and was told the Dolphin was booked but I could get the Swan on the 13th & 14th at $162.50 per night but the other 3 nights would be at $305.00 plus fees and tax. I asked about AP, AAA, Entertainment, etc. and she said NO discounts were honored after the 15th. I thought the $139.00 AP was supposed to be good until the end of the year. I don't have an AP but would get one if necessary. Any of you gotten a better rate after December 15th at the Swan?

The first date I saw the $139 AP rates, I called and asked specifically if those rates apply all through December and I was told "yes". I promptly made my ressies for 12/21 through 12/27 at the $139 rate. I hope they don't surprise me at check-in with the higher rate.

Just checked your dates here on the Dreams Unlimited ressie page and all the discounts at the Dolphin are available for your dates. The Entertainment rate of 147.50 per night doesn't seem so bad.

Like EpcotMonique we too booked the AP rate at the Swan, but its for 12/20-12/29. We were able to get 154.99 with tax.
We have our confirmation sent directly from them so I would think they are offering it. Maybe the discounted rooms are sold out?

I too have the $139 AP rate ($154.99 w/tax). I called on 8/4 & was told the Dolphin was sold out for my dates. We are going frm 12/27-1/3/04. CM told me $139 rate was good till 12/31 but I would be billed $199 rate for other 2 nites. My confirmations both state the $139 rate & nothing about $199 rate. ( I have 2 rooms booked @AP rate). I'm hoping the do like Disney does & give me the lower rate for the entire stay. I also got the free upgrade to the Lake view & requested connecting rooms. If I was you I would call again to check, plus sometimes people reserve the rooms & than don't pay the deposit! Good Luck! Kathy

Hi this is my first post, but I have been lurking for a couple of weeks and have learned so much from everyone here.

nuts4sn00py--- I was wondering how you already know you have an upgrade? Did you call directly or make a request through email? What level spg are you? I am staying at the Dolphin in December, but thought it was too soon to request an upgrade-- I am spg-gold.

Hi!

I have two rooms reserved for 12/28 - 1/3 at the Swan at the $139 AP rate. When I made the reservation, the CM put me on hold to check to see if he could extend the AP rate into the new year and sure enough he did.

BC--Sorry you couldn't get the AP rate. I would check with Dreams Unlimited if you haven't already. I imagine that they only had a certain number of rooms available at that rate. Hopefully, it will work out!!!

I put in some December dates on the Dreams Unlimited page and selected the Annual Pass discount. The best I could come up with was $154.99 for 2 people. Some of you are saying you are getting the $139 until the end of the year, but it is not coming up that way for me. Thanks for your help!

BC, I believe the $139 is before taxes.. If you look at nuts4snOOpy's post it says $139 ($154.99 with tax). So you would be getting the $139 rate. Good for you, now grab it!
