Cookies sound good...can I have some?? ;) No "mud" on the side please, I'll play my own music here :teeth:

Did a little work on the yearbook PDA before DD got up, then paid some bills....then she decides, as I'm on my way out to the grocery store, that she wants my help proofing her UNH application, so she can get that one in by Dec 1 for non-binding early action. So that delayed the grocery shopping a bit and I didn't get back to the PDA stuff because I don't want her around when I do it. But at least she's making headway on this application stuff. I got the groceries and a little of the laundry done. SO I'm taking a DIS break. MUst go get dinner started though. Fresh (and I do mean FRESH) venison tenderloin....rice....green beans....maybe a nice glass of red wine too....

Thanks Poohsie. :sunny:

Why, you are more than welcome, Ms. :sunny:

Dinner for us tonight was nothing as fancy as The Always Kind NHAnns---

After class Anatomy lab and Algebra test this morning, I came home and crashed. I think I slept for 3 hours. Zzzzzzzzz. What a nice feeling...

Post-nap consisted of doing Algebra reading and homework assignmentsthat I haven't done this week. Four chapter assignments due tomorrow night. Got two of them done--will do the other two tomorrow afternoon.

By the time that was all finished, wasn't much time left to prepare dinner (not to mention no meat thawed out ).
So...our gourmet dinner was...are you ready?? Can you handle it?? Do you even care??? Chili Dogs!! I did have a fruit salad and chips with them And I mixed up one of those Betty Crocker Snackin Cake thingies and baked it. That cake thingie is good!
Must make a note..buy more. Buy more....

That's the end of my excitemement today. too much excitement is bad for one's heart, you know.....

That snackin cakey thingie DOES sound good.
Any kind of cake sounds good. (to my tummy, but not the scale ) Is that the one that has it's own little container thingie you cook it in?
Glad you had a nap Poohsie :)

Dinner was not really too fancy...DH put the meat on the gas grill outside and complained it wasn't cooking since it's fr-fr-freezing here...I steamed the green beans and threw the rice packet thingie in the water. DD decided to grace us with her company for dinner (for once) and then proceeded to look all glum because she's really been "off" of red meat lately (particularly since she saw where it came from only yesterday hanging in the garage) so she at rice and green beans (of course her green beans were raw because she does not eat cooked vegetables except corn lately either. ) and fortunately I saved some from the steamer for her!!

well, night night to all....see you tomorrow!

Good morning!! :)

busy
busy
busy....

must work while DD sleeps...
must not DIS
must not DIS......

Stayed up late watching boxing, and should have known that the boys would get up at crack of dawn... haha!

Y-A-W-N

:)

Oh,my!
Bob posted twice on the week-end!!:scared1:

And, he still didn't answer the question.

Ann--exactly what does your daughter eat these days? With all of the "Won't eats", there don't seem to be many "will eats".
Justin is that way lately. No matter what I fis, "I don't like it" even if he liked it a week ago! Kids!

The others must sill be sleeping. WAKE UP!!!

I'm awake....I have been
sorry I didn't get back with some cookies but after eating a dozen.....OK a dozen and half.....while baking them....I just got too tired

and Sue...your dinner sounded much better than Ann's anyway.....I love chili dogs and fruit salad and cake thingies

I won't eat deer meat....YUCK!!! (insert vomiting smilie here)

COFFEE for SSB coming up ;)

Well, she eats salad (either as a salad or raw stuff on the side like cuke slices, carrots, cherry tomatoes) she eats chicken, she eats pasta and rice and bread (too many carbs  ), she does eat fruit, sandwishes--a fluffernutter to school most days...turkey or tuna at home. Some days I will admire her nutrition and balance...other days are junk/snack food, fast food and carbs  It does make it hard to fix dinner these days...I'm trying to stay away from carbs and can only take so much chicken...and I never know if I bother fixing something whether she'll even be home to eat it or "fel like" eating it  --we all have busy schedules ...it's crazy. AH well, like you said "KIDS!!""

Wow, I noticed our friend Bob too ;) :teeth:

Yep, people must be sleeping...or maybe shopping......

FOR BOB :)

good morning

Hope you had a Happy Birthday Christine !!

All I can say about that song is he didn't write it...he only sings it and he sings it well :D

well, i won't beat you to death ;) ...as i've said before, everyone's entitled to their opinions! the song invisible doesn't come off as creepy to me at all. keep in mind that he didn't sing the entire song anyway. but the song is basically about a guy who likes this girl, but she doesn't know he's alive. he's not wanting to spy on her...he's basically saying that this gal doesn't know that he exists. that's all...no psychotic tendencies...it's an innocent song...his cd's got some awesome lyrics on it...he did an amazing job on that song with ruben last night. that note he held...OMG...it lasted forever! the man's got lungs! and he was wearing leather pants...

went and checked on the house over the weekend. they ordered and installed the wrong counter top for the master bathroom! :( we left them a note about it and i'm expecting a call today. other than that, they've painted and installed the wooden bannister on the staircase...they've installed all of the cabinets in the kitchen too!

hope you had a great birthday christine!!!
