I see we've had some visitors while I was gone - howdy Dan, Patrick, Glo!

Brandie - DALMATIANS....ooooooooo...I've always wanted one - I think they're gorgeous! And 101 Dalmatians happens to be one of my very favorite Disney movies.

Ann, happy packing - don't think about the rest of us, stuck here at home...suffering...whining...crying...nope, don't give us a thought!

Deb - weren't you still considering going down this August? Revv up that motor home!

Marie - sounds like you've had a pretty nice weekend - where's the chickie recipe, chickie?

Hey, Msss - I try not to think about how warm I COULD be...thanks for the reminder, though.

SSB - how was the trip to Virginia? Hope all is well with your back schmack!

Hello All!

Ms. GVB, the trip turned out pretty well as far as the back dealee....!

The trip there about 10 hours driving, and had a fantastic time... stayed at a Bed & Breakfast for first time ever, which was cool. The Biltmore Estate was fantastico.

On the drive back, hit the traffic from the Daytona 500... eek! Added couple of hours to the trip, but no huge deal.

Lots of fun!

recipe is on the Recipe board......hahaha.........glad that you are all well......and that ssb made it back to the lemonade stand in one piece......it is 5 degrees this morning in Maine.....and I put on my sweatshirt to go to the basement to do the laundry.....now we are talking cold if I do that........I want to start walking the treadmill this evening to get my legs in condition for Disney.....I hate to just waddle my way thru the parks.......so excercise is starting a program tonight

dalmatians are wonderful dogs...but oh my are they high maintenance!! hyper spaztic little things...

i hate to say it, but we're actually considering something other than disney for a vacation this year. i really really want to go for the holidays, but since there's a chance i could be pregnant or DUE at that time, we're kinda rethinking the whole thing. he's sworn to me though that if we don't go this year, we will for sure next year. i guess we're looking into hawaii, a cruise, or possibly just a road trip around the midwest. maybe a few days in chicago to go do the touristy things...we don't know yet. it all depends on when we go and how much we can spend. there are just so many things that we need to do for the house that disney may just be out this year. we'll see...

girl scout cookie time! eek! i ordered 6 boxes from my co-worker's daughter. they came in yesterday...i broke open the do-si-dos this morning...

we're having a heat wave here right now! it's actually 32 degrees outside!

Gail....its a tow trailer not a motor home and no way do I wish to tow it down there.....
besides I don't think I'd be allowed to park it at the S/D

I did mention driving down......BUT....a lots unfolded since then....
have any of you checked air fares lately????
and not just to WDW...... My SIL's....who have wanted to do a family trip somewhere.... have found some goodies to various destinations so this summer is still "up in the air" for me ....no pun intended
depending on what they/we choose.....

So I may just save WDW for next summer

it's looking more and more as if we WON'T be visiting the mouse this year. at least not for an extended vacation anyway. it's not final yet, but it's not looking good...oh well....i'll get there next year!

i think we'll end up doing something a little closer to home. we may end up going to Des Moines for part of the week actually...and then down to visit my sister in Kansas City for a few days too. matthew's got various family in Des Moines that we'd like to see...we may still squeeze in a few days with the mouse, but we'll just have to wait and see.

high high maintenance doggies.......oh my goodness.......besides their hair loss ALL YEAR LONG........Jasmine started to mellow out by the time she was .....maybe 6.......she was one heck of a great doggie though....she loved us and her papa........
I ordered my girl scout cookies too......yummy.....my favorite is the Do-si-dos too.......and mint too......but the others are number one.....Hope all you have a good week......started back on my second pill to keep my bp down....will give it another shot......my bp went up after four days off it.....so I know I had better do this or another type....

For anyone whose interested in going with the old Swan theme, I found one of the companies that got the overstocks! The couches are 50, the sofa chairs are 39, end tables were like 20, I just couldn't believe I found them LOL...

today it is sunny out and NH ANN is going to miss out on a few storms that are brewing for us this weekend.....sleet and freezing rain is on for today and tomorrow and then snow up the ying yang.....I hate winters or did I forget to tell you that I really do. so whats up for today ladies and gents. I am going to veg and sit still for a bit and not do a darn thing......have a great day

which maybe is why i have been on line all day researching for my summer vacation. We're going to see Jerry's sister....who happens to live in California
YUP!!! I'm so excited!! So I won't be seeing WDW but I will be seeing Disney Land among other things!!
We have been trying to plan this for about 2 or 3 years now.... and when we go to check fares and find we can fly our family of 4 for only $900.... well That is just toooooo good to pass up!!

I made the coffee this morning.....yesterdays coffee dh made and I had to look and see if there was any fur on my tongue....it was soooooo strong........hope you all have a great day.....I am making a turkey dinner for today.....rotten snow and still snowing.....so nothing better then a good turkey meal....
