speaking of mud...and i mean REAL mud...not he who is named after mud...anywho...our yard is all dirt. no grass yet...we haven't had the final grade on our "lawn" yet since we moved in when the ground was frozen. taking jasmine outside when there was still ice and snow on the ground wasn't so bad. but it's all melted now...very interesting messes we've acquired...

matthew's so excited. he's getting his pool table delivered today! with the surprise bonus he got at work, he went ahead and ordered the table for the game room. it's finally arriving today...i'm going to sears to get the accessories he'll need for it and surprise him when i get home from work...

Hi guys!

Sorry I've been MIA for a while, but it's been a rough week. My friends in FL aren't doing well at ALL, and I've been in the middle of trying to arrange for them to get out of there and come back to NJ. They should be on their way in the next few days, but this past week has been absolutely So I should have a roomie again by next week. Wish us luck in our transition stage...and wish us a lottery win, too!

Brandie, I heard a couple of days ago about the dates - I knew Barry was scheduled to be on AI in April, but not the exact dates. He's got a live album due out in early April, and the cover includes a shot of the audience from the show I was at nearly two years ago (remember the flooded out show?) - who knows, I may be on there somewhere! My friend and I are convinced that Barry's head is covering us, though...but it's fun to think about.

Hi honey(s), I'm home!!

We got in tonight in time for me to see Tribal Council on Survivor my sister taped it for me too.

We had a great time, VERY relaxing.....one day at Busch Gardens and basically the rest of the time was very mellow...beach, pool, shopping, mini-golfing, met up with a former co-worker for dinner one night..she has lived in the area for 10 years...a lot of eating but a lot of walking on the beach too. Nice weatherr...only one day with a lot of rain, a few mostly sunny days, a couple of "Partly cloudy" ones...which suit me just fine when it's in the 70's I read 2 books and started a third, and have a little bit of a suntan too

Christine...so sorry we didn't meet. ((hugs)) hope things are looking up for you!

Debbie....sounds like a fun vacation you're planning...will you still come up this way for camping at all??

Poor TownCrier......hope he is feeling better soon......I have alot of work to do today and for this evening......Brians uncles visitation and services will be this evening and we have people coming for food before and after the services......oy oy oy......ordered some of the food out and the rest I have to make NOWWWWWWWWWWWWW......

well, matthew's now the proud owner of his pool table! i did stop on the way home to buy him the accessories kit he'd need in order to play. he put the whole thing together last night. but the dumb thing doesn't fit in the room the way it's supposed to! so it sits at an angle...which kinda thrown a wrench into our other plans for the room. oh well! he likes his table and that's what's important...i'm sure i'll be playing pool this weekend...

well, not good with mountains of laundry staring at me.
I want to be back on the beach. I want to live in Florida. I have PVLS (post vacation let- down syndrome).

Well, at least it's here today and going to be at least 40 methinks I will get a lawn chair out at high noon on my deck and refresh my suntan . And maybe put the top down on the car to go to the grocery store

Ann- I'm jealous, I'd gladly suffer from PVLS just so I could enjoy the V part .
I hope the mud isn't too bad for all ya'll up north. We've got 60 and sunny today and tomorow then 65 Sunday!

Debbie...there are lots of California DISers, you should do a thread asking for hotel recommendations in the area where you're looking, once you get it narrowed down to a few possibilities from your internet search!!
So have you checked on any lemonade-stand type places???

Good morning everyone..............
hope you all are having a great weekend!!!

My BC Eagles clinched first place in Hockey East last night so I am doing the happy dance. Have to do it disceetly though, since they beat DH's (and probably DD's) UNH down at BC last night to do it! It's a "home and home" weekend so we go to UNH tonight to see them too....meeting my sister there...she and I will be in maroon and gold while DH and DD will be in blue and white like 99% of the crowd Should be fun!!
