Can someone please tell me about the arcade at the Swan/Dolphin? My son (11) and my daughter (8) love video games and they love arcades. We'll arrive at the Dolphin about 2pm on our first day and we have reservations at Chef Mickey's at 6:30pm. I thought the kids would enjoy spending a couple of hours at the Swan/Dolphin arcade until its time to leave for Chef Mickey's. Is the arcade at the Dolphin big enough to entertain the kids for a few hours? Is there another arcade nearby that might be more entertaining? Thanks in advance for your help!

The arcade at the Dolphin is not that big. I think that the kids might be hard pressd to spend an hour or 2 there.
But since you are going to Chef Mickey's for dinner....why not give them that time at the Contemporary Resort arcade?! It is much larger and I have spent a few hours there myself.
I hop ethat this helps

The swan and dolphin both have separate arcade and they are not as fun and big as the Disney Arcades and have mostly older games. It also eats your money because a lot of the games were not working when we were there. Give the kids 10 minutes and they will be done.

If you can walk over to the Boardwalk, they have a bigger arcade with new and fun games. Also the Beach Club arcade next to Beaches and Cream was a hit with my kids. You can walk over to both of these from swan/dolphin.

If you are going to Chef Mickeys, I would leave earlier and let them enjoy the cool and fun arcade there. It really is nice. You can sip a drink while sitting on those cool sofas.

I hope that helps:bounce:

with GM. That advice is right on target! (Just got back from the S/D ourselves...!)

Thanks for the info! We'll check out the arcades at the Boardwalk and Contemporary and skip the Dolphin arcade.

Here's my two cents. I would just go straight to the contemporary. We spent hours there, it must have been 3 hours. There were 4 of us, all adults 25-33. I'm sure the kids would have just as much fun if not more. You can win tickets there to get prizes. It's a great arcade.

The best arcade, however, imho, is the one in tomorrowland at MK. :) :) :) So many pinball machines. :bounce:
