Do they contact you before hand of anything? This is our first time staying there. Gonna do the DISCON thing and figured what the heck go for it.

Is it true the resort fee is waived?

And Valet parking is free for those with a handicapped placard?

Will probably have more questions as time goes by but this is a start.

Tried to read through the FAQ but it has gotten really big.

Thanks

I've never stayed at the Swan club level but below is some info on club level, copied and pasted from Glo's FAQ. Also you can call the 800# if you have questions that don't get answered here on the boards.........

"Club Room info

2) Do these rooms have Park views or balconies? They are either resort view or front of the house views. Some may have partial park views, but very few. There are no direct park views. There are no club level rooms with balconies.
3) When is the food offered? Morning (7-10am), Afternoon (only offered at the Swan) and Evening (5-7pm)
4) What food is offered? Continental breakfast consists of assorted fresh pastries and fruits, cereals, yogurts, and coffee and tea. Afternoon

5) Is concierge available for these rooms or do you use the one downstairs?
Concierge located on the lobby level (3rd floor)
6) What is the difference between these and the concierge rooms? They are one in the same as far as layout/size.
The Dolphin wing offer alcohol in the evenings through room service. The Swan wing offers
cordials in the evening and any other alcholic beverages through room service.
At the Dolphin the 12th floor-Royal Beach Level and had club privileges. The prices for the honor bar was $2.00 for a beer or wine, and $3.50 for liquors-great deal compared to buying at a bar. No service charge is added. The $8 resort fee is waived at the concierge level.
The Concierge level(club rooms) at the Swan and Dolphin have Westin Heavenly Beds, extra nice with great padding and sheets. Thanks WonderMagik
The Swan's Executive Suites and the Dolphin's Junior Executive Suites & Executive Suites may or may not have club privledges. The Presidentials, Gov's, or Swan Studios do not.

the parks.
Selection of pastries, muffins, coffee cake and crossiants and jelly.
There was ample food well presented and refilled if it ran low.

Evening (5-7pm)
A fresh veggie/dip, cheese( hard and soft cheeses)and breads every night.
They had a rosemary focchia bread every night that I would have w/ cheese that was absolutely delicious.
Wine and beer were offered at an honor bar.I think it was $2 for each-a real bargain compared to lobby bar.

Late evening.
Coffee/flavorings an teas. Cordials were available for $3.50 a real deal for a full cordial
glass. No cookies or other stuff. "

This may be strange but we don't drink or drink coffee/tea do they have free soft drinks through out the day? Are they readily available or do you have to ask for assistance? Thanks,:)

oops.....I went off the boards for the weekend and didn't see your followup question til now.
Have never stayed at the Swan or club level, but I'm assuming the soft drinks and other "stuff" is in a designated lounge area on the 11th or 12th floor.
Bumping up in hopes that someone more in the know will respond!

I've stayed there and really enjoyed it. Here is what I remember:

Breakfast: Juice , coffee/tea, milks, fruits, muffins, bagels, toast, cereals, pastries. Bottled water to take to parks.

Throughout the day there are soft drinks, water and potato chips available.

Dinner/ evening: Coffee/tea with flavourings, soft drinks, cheeses, fruits, crackers.

The staff is exceptionallly nice. Any more questions?

Can't say for sure, but, I would have to say "no" to contacting you prior to your stay for PS's,etc. but, only because the Club level at the SD are not like Concierge at the WDW resorts.

"Club level" only means access to the complementary food and drink. There is a separate Concierge desk on the lower level that is available to all guests at the resort. It is at this desk where they will make PS's for you, among other services.

Again, the actual Concierge desk service is available to all SD guests.
