Swan Bride/ Disney Reception Question?

Hi All! I have been flipping through my Passporter book (thank God for Carrie Hayward) and I was wondering if I do a ceremony at the swan, would I be able to do a sit down lunch at say- California Grill Napa room for the same price listed in the book? It says $1,000 plus tax and gratuity if I can have a lunch ending by 4pm.

My question is, if I'm technically not a DFTW bride, does the cost of the private room sky rocket or would it be the same? Also, I'm assuming if I had a date in mind, they would give preference to a DFTW bride over me, correct? Even if I had already booked with them? (Them being Disney catered events?)

Thanks in advance for all of your help! The small details that go into this are mind-boggling and I'm still on the big things! :ewok:

The prices are the same whether you're doing a Disney's Fairy Tale Wedding or a Disney Catered Event. The trick is that if DCE thinks you are trying to have a wedding reception without going through DFTW, they won't work with you. Or they will not let you have a wedding cake, wear your gown or have a DJ. Here's an interview with a bride who got married offsite and then had a DCE at the Attic. She talks about the restrictions: http://disneyweddingpodcast.com/2016/01/13/maitland-art-center-spotlight-lisa-will/

DCE events can't book as far out as DFTW events, so it's not about preference. It's about who can book first.

Oh Thank you Carrie! That's just perfect for me since I wasn't really looking for a "typical" reception. Thanks!!
