Swan and other decorations going up!

I just left the Swan today and they had the 2 christmas trees in the lobby up and several other trees up inside the resort. We were there for 4 nights and each morning I noticed more and more decorations. I walked over to BW & YC. All their decorations were up. The tree in the YC was beautiful with big Yachts all over it, the captain was even standing beside the tree to boot!! The xmas music was playing all over the Boardwalk! It was just great. MGM had all their decorations up! All the Osbourne lights were up but not on yet. But the rest of the trees and lights were lit up. Gosh I want to go back already and I just got home!!!! Animal Kingdoms Christmas Trees were also beautiful....

Thanks Robin. We leave on Thanksgiving - staying at the Swan for the first time. How did you like it there??

We were at Disney this weekend..every resort we visited was already decorated (including the big gingerbread house at GF) EPCOT tree and decorations are up.

I really loved the Swan. I was really just in awe at the sight of it! It is really beautiful! The Grotto pool was great! My kids loved the water slide. The weather was great. Around 80 everyday. No rain at all! Every employee there we encountered was great. I could just go on and on. I guess what I liked the most was being able to wallk out of the Swan and have the option of a 5 min. walk to the boardwalk, a 10 to 15 min. walk to Epcot, a 20 min. walk to MGM!!! The location is wonderful! Well enough of my babbling! Hope you have tons of fun.....

Can you tell me what is offered to kids at dinner at Gulliver's (from the menu , not the buffet)? We are staying at ASMo but will be at Gullivers for a character dinner the week before Christmas. I checked allears but can only find a regular (not kids) menu. Also, do you remember the prices?

I cant be much help on Gulivers. We did try to eat there a couple of times, but each time they were doing character dining. They had character dining about 5 out of 7 nights we were there. We had already done a character meal and that wasnt what we wanted. Everywhere else around the Swan had kids menus. Room service a had a kids meal for breakfast, lunch & dinner. I thought the prices were resonable for Disney. We did eat at Tubbies a couple of times for the convienence. It was probably the cheapest meal we had there. They have the cafeteria style dining. They had a kids breakfast for like 6.90. Our kids meals were always pretty cheap, our meals were the ones that costed!! Boardwalk was great. We rented a bike made for 4 and I thought I would die before we got the thing back, Needless to say Im NOT in shape! There are lots of performers down there at night, like jugglers, magicians etc. My kids loved these. We also loved ESPN resturant! THere prices are really good and so is the food. There is also a arcade connected to the resturant. You can also rent the water mice there too! I know you will have lots of fun!!
