Swan and Dolphin Pizza

Does the Swan hotel still do those amazing take out pizzas? Is it ok to drop by and get one if you're not a guest at the hotel itself?

I don't remember the Swan ever having take out pizzas. Are you thinking about the Spoodles take out window at the Boardwalk? If you are, yes, it's still there. You don't have to be a guest at any resort to enjoy any of their food. There's also pizza at Picabo's at the Dolphin. Haven't tried that one yet.

The one time we tried take out pizza from Spoodles will be the last! It was awful!

We've had pizza from what used to be called Tubbi's, now called Picabu in the Dolphin and it's pretty good. Not great like you'd have in NYC, Jersey or Philly, but always hot and fresh.

It was definitely a restaurant at the Swan. I'll steer clear of Spoodles though - thanks for the warning, Blondie!

Tubbi's had really good, made while you wait pizza. I hope they are still the same since the name change!

On the subject of pizza, the Spoodles window does get a bashing. But we like it. Not great but not awful (for Disney World, the awful would go to the All Stars stuff). The Mara at the Animal Kingdom Lodge is pretty good. Haven't tried Picabo's but it's getting good reviews. Only problem is they don't have a view of Crescent Lake. That adds to the flavor of the Spoodles stuff.
