Swan and Dolphin Discounts?

We took advantage of the Nursing discount last Feb, does anyone know if they still offer the discounts or have they ceased to exist! Thanks for any info!

Calling just two weeks ago I got the discount (for teacher - same rate as nurse) for several dates during spring break for the Swan.

Looking online will NOT probably tell you the info you need so call!

Do you have the number? I have tried all the different sites I can think of and found no discount for June 3 - 12. It may be sold out but it is certainly worth a call before I give up. Thanks so very much!

If you go to www.allearsnet.com and click on accomodations, then click on 'Special Rates for allearsnet.com readers, then click 'Visit Swan and Dolphin Discount Page' , then click 'the 2005 Rates' you can find the 2005 rates for teachers and nurses at the Swan and Dolphin. It's 1/16-4/30 and 12/12-12/31=$169.00/night and 1/1-1/15 and 5/1-12/20=$149.00/night. The phone number listed there is 888-828-8850. Be sure and mention the allearsnet.com reader part. Also try Travelocity--we have stayed at the Dolphin twice using Travelocity and both times, the rates were cheaper than the nurse/teacher rate (Travelocity includes all taxes and fees in their final rate).

I called the Dolphin today (800)227-1500 and there are no Nurse/Teacher/Gov't discounts for our trip, 12/5 - 12/15. They do have discounts starting on 12/16....Just my luck. The reservationist told me to call back in the summer. We're getting too excited to wait til then to have a solid ressie. Should I just contact Sue at DU and let her book it now and hope a lower rate is available before our trip?
