Swan and Dolphin discount

I have read for years that the Swan and Dolphin offer a nurse/teacher discount.
my son called yesterday to see what the nurse discount is and they told him they don’t offer that anymore.
has anyone else heard this?

When I called a couple years ago for the educator discount, it was only a few dollars less per day than the Marriott member daily rate. I decided it was not worth it as that also meant I had to call in if the rate changed rather than changing my reservation online.

I think I saved $5 a day. Nothing major.
