Swan and Dolphin buses

After the parks reopened, Swan and Dolphin stopped using Disney buses, so you were dropped off far away at Animal Kingdom and, more importantly, at the TTC at Magic Kingdom. Does anyone have any recent experience with this? Is it still working that way? Has there been anything said about returning to Disney buses in the future? I’d rather walk to the Beach/Yacht Club or Boardwalk than have to deal with the TTC.

The current bus location at AK for Swan / Dolpin / Reserve is actually closer then the original bus positioning in the Resort loop.

We walked to BW when going to MK. Animal Kingdom didn't seem too far off (of course our "kids" are young adults). We really didn't wait too long for bus back to the hotel either.
