Do anyone have a recommendation for swamp rides? We are going to be there next week and DS(10) is a huge nature, science boy and really wants to see an alligator in real-life.

Thnaks.

You may be a little too far north for swamp rides. They are more in the Everglades.

If you're willing to travel several hundred miles south (close to Ft Lauderdale), you might like Billie's Swamp Safari on the Seminole Reservation. It's on the northern fringes of the Everglades. Our family took an airboat tour, and we got close up to several alligators. That's a once in a lifetime experience.

It's probably too far from Orlando, but if you're ever in South Florida, I'd do it.

There is an airboat ride off Boggy Creek Rd...http://www.bcairboats.com/

Directions

Take 192 East to Poinciana Blvd. (Poinciana is located between mile marker 10 & 11)
Make a right on Poinciana Blvd. Go 19 miles south until it dead ends.(Poinciana Blvd. will change it's name to Southport Rd.

Roughly 40 minutes from WDW.

Yep. Boggy Creek was my suggestion, too. We're doing it when we go down later this month.
