Swagbucks, 2 accounts, sharing computer, & disqualified

I didn't want to post this on the long Swagbuck thread but I know many of you have used Swagbucks and might have some advice! Plus, maybe this would warn others.


My sister and her husband both have a Swagbuck account. They do share computers and sometimes they might log on to each other's phones to check something. The phone thing is more common now because it seems like offers are not going through on the apple computer (security?). She has had to fight SBs to get credit so now she just uses the phone.

Well they disqualified her husband's account the other day. He had SBs on there too. She asked why and they said the whole 2 account thing but you are allowed to have two accounts (one per person) in the household (per their rules).

He wrote them back and said that one is hers and one is his. But, since they live in the household they both log on at different times on the computer etc.. He asked how does he get it reinstated? And what to do moving forward?

Any advice? SBs still has not responded. They are pretty angry because he just did an offer (barkbox), spent money, and now can not cash in the SBs.

I've always heard that the multiple accounts per household has to be completely separated as far as devices go. My wife and I both do SB, but always on our separate computers and separate phones. Otherwise, it can look like it's just one individual with more than one account.

As far as getting the accounts back, it's not going to be easy. I've seen people admit to ignorance of that rule and get it back, and others not.
 
I was aware of it because I read the disboards a lot but she was not. I understand them wanting to control multiple accounts but surely there is a better way.

I will have her re email them again then. Because it was an honest (can't really call it a mistake) issue.
 
We have two accounts but I was warned early on so we use different devices. Hopefully they will reinstate you soon, for more advice there are post on reddit about this and what to do.
 

Update! They did finally reply and asked for a picture of his driver's license. I think this is good.

I'm not so sure I would want to send them a copy of one's driver's license to get the SB account back. MyPoints did the same thing to me & sis years ago. I didn't bother anymore

That is how they usually verify multiple accounts. I have not done it myself but many others have had to do it this way.
