SWA Travel Credits

I am taking a group of 12 to WDW in late June. As of this morning, the flight price has dropped over $40 per person so I rebooked and now have over $548 SWA ticketless travel credit. However, some of it has to be used by 8/21/09 ($160) and the rest by 12/28/09. I have no plans to fly before early 2010 and now figure that all my work is for naught as I won't be able to use to credit. I know I can pay a fee and get the expiration extended for 6 months but not sure I would be able to use the credits in that time either. Any suggestions as to how I can get some of my money back? Taking 12 to WDW for a week is expensive and I can use any money that I would be able to get back for my trip. Thanks

See if a relative, friend or co-worker can use the credits. SW says the credits can't be sold, ebay has been pulling auctions. You're not allowed to sell them on DIS, you weren't asking I said that for the benefit of anyone reading this thread.

You probably have enough credits to take an extra trip. Look for deals and books something. You can get rooms in Vegas for next to nothing.

We sold ours on Ebay recently and got almost the full value.
