SWA Rapid Rewards

So I booked my first trip to Disney for the 4 of us on Southwest. If I sign up for Rapid Rewards, do we only get 2 credits for each person traveling or can one person in the party get all 8 of the credits?? We don't travel often so I'm just wondering if it's worth signing up for Rapid Rewards or not. Oh and how long can you keep your credits??

It's always worth signing up for because it's free. The rewards go to the person that flies, so each of you would have your own reward account. You cannot put everyone's flights on one person's account.

The credits expire after 24 months.

Also you need 8 RT flights (16 credits) within that 24 month period to get an award. If you don't fly a lot and want to try still, you can earn credits by using their business partners (Marriott hotels, Alamo car rental,etc.) or by signing up for their credit card.

We often rent cars thru Alamo using their discount codes that offer triple or quadruple credits.
2.0 or 1.5 credits vs the standard 0.5 credits for a rental.
