Hi,
With luck, I'll soon be booking tickets for the five of us to fly MDW to MCO in December. First time flying on this airline, but there are so many threads on this board that I think I'm getting the hang of it.

If rates drop after awhile and we all manage to get a small credit back, can they all be combined to buy one ticket for one of us in the future? (assuming I'm not lucky enough to get it put back onto my cc.)

Similarly, do I sign up all five of us for their frequent flyer program in advance? Or is there any chance all the points can go onto one person's account? I know this probably can't happen, but with 2 for loading Ding, and potentially 4 more for opening a credit card, 10 more for this vacation would add to 16....

When buying a ticket, you can use credits (aka "ticketless travel funds) from up to 4 different itinerary confirmation numbers) - that's the default on the payment page -- you may be able to use funds from more than 4 itineraries - someone else will know...)

You should all sign up for FF numbers - like all airlines, you can't combine credits you ear with credits someone else earns (ok, actually there are ways to partially get around this on at least the legacy airlines but I don't think you can on SWA.)

And I could be wrong but I think that the offer to earn bonus credits for downloading Ding doesn't exist anymore.

It may not exist anymore, but it did when I downloaded it a few months ago--I see the 2 credits on my account.
