SWA question before I call SWA

I'll put this out to my fellow disboard buddies before calling SWA. I have a SWA reservation with 2 names under it. There's a possibility now that I may be making a solo trip. Can I cancel just one of the names under the reservation #, keep mine, and have the funds from the canceled trip applied for future travel?
