... for flights August 15 until October 31, 2007. I was able to get flights from Chicago to MCO and back for $84/each way.:goodvibes I know it's not as good as some Ding!s, but still beats $129/each way I had originally booked! Total for 4 people was $755. I'm ok with that. :thumbsup2

The Hartford "Sale" is $126. The regular price is $119. Is this some kinda bizzaro sale or something?? I don't get it. Even dings from BDL have been higher than the regular price. I am not venting (well, I guess I am) but I am seriously curious what this is suppose to mean?? Do they think their customers are stupid?

Just booked the same special, chicago to mco. I agree that it doesn't touch those ding fares we're so used to getting, but $188 per person isn't too bad. And I'll just wait and hope for some dings!

Another Hartford traveler here -- $126!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is the highest it has been since our dates opened up, and it's currently not even the lowest price category. Hope no one falls for that price, and it just means that they've put back the internet category and it'll be lowered.

Wow, I am really wishing I had booked when the internet rate was $99!!

Just booked MCO to PIT for $79 ea for the 5 of us. I booked our flight down through USAir already when they had a sale but their return flight was too early and not non-stop. So, now our total trip is $844 for the 5 of us, which I can live with because I was just hoping to pay less than $1000. Now, I will keep an eye on Dings to see if it goes any lower, but pretty satisfied with what I paid.

Sacramento to Orlando $129 each way  That is much better then the previous $193:hippie:

Thanks for the heads up! Just rebooked our end of October PHL-MCO flight for $79. Another $96 in TTF, thank you very much! :thumbsup2

Hopefully it'll come back soon for you. That internet fare category keeps disappearing and then a few days later reappearing -- this time the internet rate just reappeared and because it's priced higher than the next category, I'm thinking the next change we'll see will be SW lowering the internet fare.

I'm satisfied with $99 each way, but would love to see the fares that neighboring Providence have been getting, which are way less, although not sure why. Is there more competition out of Providence, perhaps another low-fare carrier?

got the $99 fare but BOY!!! was I hoping for better by now! Seems like everybody's getting good fares but us.

OK, who pissed SWA off? Come On - own up!!!;)

Got $178.80 per person out of Indy to Orlando for late September/early October. I'll watch for a ding in case I can lower that since it's off season. But that's not a bad fare with the price of fuel/gas these days.

I'm figuring when the SWA schedule comes out tomorrow, I'll be paying $119 one one from BDL-MCO. Oh well, I'll just re-book if the fares come down. That'll give me an excuse for a quick trip next winter/spring!

After months @ $120 (PIT-MCO) it's finally the old Southwest prices.

Had to jump on those tonight.

I hear you, I was wondering if I was the only 'Burgher watching that $120 just waiting for it to drop, LOL. With 5 of us, I just really wanted to get under $1000 total.

Which flights did you pick for there and back? We actually used USAir for our trip down because they had a sale a few saturdays ago, $69 down and could have had $49 on the way back, but only for early morning flights. (I really, really liked those fares) But, we wanted an evening flight back so we could have more park time on the last day and not have to rush out of there, so we held out for SW.

We are taking the 8:50 pm flight home, I am sure we will be exhausted by the time we get home... and sad too, LOL.

We got the early one down and and last one back. We got Magical Express, so the 3 o'clock flight would mean leaving around noon. I rather try to leave early or late so we could enjoy the day.

Wow I can't believe those USAIr fares, I must have been a sleep at the switch. Now If SW can only become a participating airline with DME before September, I can then stop second guessing my flights.

$168.00 from Chicago to MCO & $158.00 from Pittsburgh about very good fares considering the current state of the airline industry.

And suffice it to say that $258.00 from SMF (Sacramento) to Orlando is off-the-charts.

I know, those rates were phenomenal! We only knew about it because one of the guys he works with has been watching for his own trip and saw it come up. But, the latest return flight was at 1pm, and we are also using ME...so we would have basically lost the entire last day.

Oh, I agree there. Anything under $200 RT was what I was hoping for. For a while there, it was pretty much stuck at $240, so I am happy.

Whew! Been waiting for a good fare. $188 Chicago to MCO. Didn't want to pay $241 last week.

I totally agree anything from the west coast under $300 is a blessing

We got Kansas City (MCI) to MCO for $64 base fare, internet special, each way non stop. $158.00 total round trip!! :wave2:
