SWA flights-Tue.+Wed.REDUCED!

Hi, I just checked my July flight down to MCO and the flights were down by $10.(NOT ALOT) but I had purchased 5 tickets. So I now have a $50.credit.It seems that July(also at least the beginning of August-that is as far as I checked) flights on Tuesday and Wednesday are lower than other days. Hope this helps someone! And booking Thursday through Monday for travel on Tuesday or Wednesday, or booking on Tuesday or Wednesday for travel on Thursday through Monday is a little more expensive?

Out of Manchester the rate is $94 one way instead of the $122 I'm paying, too bad I can't change dates to go Tuesday to the following Wednesday. I'm sure I'll see some Ding fares this summer for Tues and Wed also and I'll be crying.

I just noticed this too when I was checking our flights (again!) and noticed it went down to $94. We originally booked the day they were released for $122. I changed it last week or so to $104 now it's down to $94
We have a $56 credit to use later

Doesn't matter what day of the week you decide to get on the computer to book a flight. Just type in your flight day to be a Tue or Wed and the flight will be cheaper. I had booked a Friday flight back in Feb. Got a rate of $300. Today I checked on a flight leaving the Wed before and found it to be $19 cheaper. This is for 3 people. So, I could potentially save about $6 a ticket over a Friday flight. Also found mid week flights to have all the cheapest catagories available. My friday flight is one catagory from the highest refundable pricing.

Explain something please.... If I book 5 seats on Southwest, then get credit on them when prices go down, are the credits in each person's name for their use only, or are they in my name since I paid for them all, making that $50 credit something I can use wholly for my next flight? thanks! Just asking because most airlines require the credit be used only by the reservation name.

The credit is in the name of the person who made/paid for the reservation. You don't have to personally use the credit. You could use that credit for a reservation in somebody else's name.

Delta's been ticking me off lately....more than doubling their n/s fares out of GSO for October.

So we're considering SWA out of RDU. If we book, then they lower prices, how do I go about getting the lower fares? Do I call? Book the new seats, cancel the old ones?

Tuesday and Wednesday? What year?

New Orleans to Orlando has the same 4 rates: $86, $96, $119 & $129 - I checked tomorrow and every day until our vacation in August - there are no better rates.

Perhaps I'm not doing something right. If there is a "secret passage" to Tuesday & Wednesday discounts, please tell me....
