SWA flights cancelled Rebook or drive?

I just found out by checking the SWA web site that our departing and returning flights have been cancelled. We had great nonstop flights. We would now have to change planes and arrive much later in the day. If you have had your flights cancelled how many of you have decided to still fly or have changed your mind and are driving now?

How did you find out from the web site that they were cancelled? Was it a notice. You should call and confirm with SWA that the flights were cancelled before you do anything else.

Do you mind telling me what dates your flights were scheduled for? We are flying SWA out of New Orleans in December and I check their web page everyday because I am hearing of flights being cancelled and I want to know as soon as possible. Thanks

Our dates were December 29 and January 5. On the SWA website I checked the flight schedules and our flights were no longer listed. The earliest flight left at noon and it was no longer a nonstop. I called SWA to confirm and the flight schedule had been changed. I would call to confirm your flights. The airline said we should have been notified but we were not. We are trying to decide whether to rebook or drive.
