SWA flight stop... where???

we fly out tomorrw from mco to bdl, I saw there was 1 stop but no plane change listed, how can I find out where the flight stops? does anyone take flight 0273 that can tell me? Will people get off as well as on at this stop? just curious, we have two little ones and would like to know how to plan and what to tell them, they are use to getting off when the plane stops

The plane stops briefly at BWI (Baltimore, MD) to drop off and pick up passengers then will take off again to BDL. We had flights like this before. The time on the ground can be minimal or there can be a delay dependng o air traffic. On our way to MCO, it was a quick stop. On the way home, it was longer due to a storm. HTH.

yes, thank you! I am hoping by that time at least one child will be asleep. The youngest had problems on landing and takeoff in previous flights, but we got her eraplanes and she did better UNTIL the flight down, which she screamed for the entire descent!! now I wish i had picked a direct flight... who knew????

You booked a direct flight. A non stop flight goes directly from your departure airport to your destination airport. A direct flight makes one (or more) stops but you don't change planes. A connecting flight means you'll have to change planes.

Yep, you need to learn those pesky differences in flight types.. Many people think direct is the same as non-stop, which on the surface makes sense, but they, as you found out, are 2 different things

Although, non-stop doesnt really make a lot of sense as the plane WILL stop somewhere, hopefully at the airport terminal you were hoping for.

You left them in the whole flight? Or if you took them out, you put them back in around half an hour before descent? If no, do those things. And they say to only use the earplanes for one roundtrip flight, so if you didn't buy new ones, get them. Also, did you get the Junior size? if you can't find them locally, they are available on drugstore.com.

Yea, my brother is getting earplanes for his grandchildren to use. I told him to make sure to take them out at altitude so the pressure would equalize. Then as we get ready to decend, put them back in so the pressure can slowly bleed off on the way down... Am curious to see if they help or not. I'm a lucky one and have always been able to equalize without any help just 'rolling' my jaw.

I did take them out and reinsert, they are new and the Junior size They have worked well before so I was very surprised that once again, she had discomfort on The return however, I left them in and even though we had 3+ delays (they finally just stopped giving us a time and said when the piolot get's here... we'll board and leave whcih we did, but upon our stop in MD, aftel everyone boarded we had to CHANGE planes due to a mechanical failure... BOTH KIDS slept through landing and we had to get them and our stuff off and get on another plane.. UGH, I have to say there were many HELPFUL people and I have such a warm fuzzy, everything from hekping us carry our stuff to keep them sleeping to getting our ID's checked again.. crazy since the terminal was empty except for us! anwya I digress, I left them in and she was fine for both takeoff and landing WaHOO!! we were up and down so fast, I would have just taken them out and had to put them back in, and she fell asleep and I didnt want to wake her.

I recommend them, so foar only one out of many flights were there was an issue, so maybe she had an underlying ear issue?????

Awesome. Yea, for little ones, they dont know what's happening other then "it hurts" A little stuffyness could for sure cause an issue with the pressure. Although normally, if a child cries, it actually tends to help open the passages and helps with the discomfort. Or maybe they just werent happy
