I live in the Eastern standard time. The flights were up a 6:15am. I have read that its normally opens at 6am and someone once saw it open as early as 5:45am

No, I just got up that early to check. It was closer to 6:15am EST

Keep checking. I wanted to switch to an earlier flight and it was sold out. Then later that night it wasn't sold out. There were actually two other flights showing sold out but all of them showed available later in the day.

So keep checking.

I am beside myself as well. This has never happened before. We are looking to go September and I don't know what I should do!!! Will they open up again???

I have seen them show "Wanna Get Away" as sold out or unavailable right away. Then later on, they're available. I think what they do with some flights is make very little seats available initially, maybe hoping to get people to book the higher class fares. Then, as time goes on and not many people purchase the other, more expensive class of fares, they transfer the seats from those classes to the Wanna Get Away class and they suddenly show as available. Combined with them already reducing flights at many airports, it doesn't make for a good situation.
