SWA fare dropped - do I lose my EBCI?

My fare with SWA has dropped - if I cancel the flight online and re-book I will lose my EBCI won't I. How do I get the cheaper fare and keep my EBCI? Do I call SWA or do I just bite the bullet and keep the old fare and stop looking at SWA website?

As long as the new fare is not a "Ding" offer, you can just "change" the booking online, retain the same booking number, get the lower fare and keep your EBCI. I've done it.

Thanks - it wasn't a "Ding" fare so I will try to change it.

If your confirmation number stays the same, you wont lose EBCI.
