SWA dropped prices today!

Hi everyone, just wanted to give you the heads up! I cancelled and rebooked for the May long weekend as these fares came out cheaper than I had booked with DING. I paid $49 each way May 20 to the 23!
Quick before there gone!

Darn! I wish that they would stretch their schedule to later in August. I have, fleetingly, considered flying with my one DD, who is nuts about Disney and graduating Grade 8 this year. She's taking a high school credit through July, though, and so it has to be August IF we were to go. I have decided that we will only go if I can get an awesome deal. And if it were really awesome, I'd take my youngest DD, too!

I was just coming to post Marilynn! I just reduced my one way to $49 as well. There was no specials avail on my return though, just reg. fares.

Originally it showed the box for internet fares and they were all not avail. Which I found strange. Now that box isn't there at all. I am going to keep checking!

I just read the Florida Frenzy is only good until June 16th, I guess that's why. I am looking for June 24. Okay I am finished arguing with myself. As you were

How did you change your fare for the one way when the return fare wasn't discounted.
My fare down is $49. fare back is higher I tried to change to $49 fare but it won't let me when I go in to do a change? I would like to keep the same flight # and time.

I am not sure because I only booked the one way. I am waiting to book the return when they drop. If you call Southwest though they will walk you through it if it can be done.

If you go into change reservation from the travel tools screen, are each of your legs listed seperately? If so you could just choose the one you want to change. If not i would call them they are very helpful, I hadn't changed before so she walked me through the screens and stayed on the phone with me until I was finished. She then pulled up my ressie and made sure my credits were applied correctly.

This airline is so customer friendly when it comes to things like this, none of our Cdn airlines would even consider doing anything like this.

Thanks for the info I did go into change but it wouldn't let me because I booked a round trip and only the outbound in discounted. I will give them a call.You are right I have been using SW for 5 years now and they have always had good customer service. They bent over backwards for us a few times when we had vouchers and had to go to Buffalo to pick up tickets.
It is so easy to change flights and get discounts with no penalty. That's why they are doing so well and others are failing. They should take a lesson from them. If it wasn't for SW we wouldn't be going to Florida as often as we do.

I just booked my son Dan and I into Pop Century over the May long weekend on the SWA seat Sale of $49 each way. I can't believe that I'm going back again! Thank You SWA for making this possible!!!

Dan had been complaining that he wasn't going anywhere and that he was having to look after Tim while DH and I are at Disneyland in July....and now he is!!!

So far I've got the CAA rate of $84 for our 3 nights at POP but hoping that a room only code will further reduce that to make this a "sweet" trip!!

I too saw the great deals on SWA Florida Frenzy, can you call the airlines to get that price or do you have to do it over the internet, this would be my first time over the internet and I am a little nervous. Plus I have to wait till May 4th, I am flying out of Pittsburgh, PA

Yes, I believe you can call and get the rate, but I've never done it that way.

It's really simple, give it a try!
