Since I have a Mac and cannot get Ding, :sad2: I have a question for those of you who can. Once you receive this "live update", is it a special that's already on the web and if you punched in those travel dates and places you could have gotten it on the web or is it something else entirely with totally different specials?

The >DING!< service seems to be tied to an individual "Installation ID". I think that only service subscribers can access/buy the DING! fares. They don't seem to be available to non-subscribers.
(Since this is a brand-new system, I'm still learning about it, *but*...) For instance, I could find some great DING! fare, even post it on the 'Net somewhere, but folks who don't have service subscriptions cannot buy the fares. The reason I 'say' this is that yesterday, when I clicked on my DING!/SWA icon, the URL in the browser window has *my* Installation ID within it.

I don't know if I've explained it very well. It's a shame that SWA has not made this accessible to Mac users. E-mail SWA, maybe even the DING! customer service folks, & let your dissatisfaction be known. If enough Mac users complain about being left out in the cold, I bet SWA will be able to figure out a way to make this new online feature available to more members of the ticket-buying public.

Thanks agnes!. I'm heartbroken about this. You can't email SWA because they don't take email and when I try to call Customer Relations, all I get is a recording that they are busy and leave your number. It is so frustrating to be a good SWA customer and have them do this to me! I know they didn't target me personally but it sure feels like it. :confused3

This is a PC (windows) world. We Mac users are always left out in the cold, even though we know that Mac is better! :earboy2: Here come the flames, lol!

Hopefully SWA figures something out for the loyal Mac folks.
