I am hoping that SWA releases their Dec/Jan fares prior to the Florida sale ending on Aug 4 (and that the sale prices will be available for the new fare dates released). I believe that last year they released these fares dates July 29.
I have to book the following fares:
Sat. Dec 17 BUF-MCO (4 fares). I have noticed that other airlines are ending their sale fares by Dec 15, letting me assume that Dec 17 would be peak Christmas time since some school districts are finished up for the holidays by then. I would then guess that a $99 OW fare (price based on a current Sat Dec 10 fare) would be good for this date since it is peak. Any thoughts??
Sat. Dec 31 MCO-BUF (for DH) I KNOW that this is peak time and will book a $99 OW (if I am able to book the current Florida sale). I would be very happy with this fare price.
Sat Jan 7 MCO-BUF (me, DD, DS) I assume that this is considered non-peak time. Should I book with the current sale (if I even am able to ), or should I hold out for a better price later this fall?? Since I will be travelling alone withthe kids I REALLY want to book a NS so I wonder if I should just go ahead and book it?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated on this matter. Obviously I am NOT SWA savvy and any advice would really be great.
Thank you
Suzy V.
